Terms of service
Last updated July 27, 2026
These terms cover your use of customearringcards.com and any order you place with Crater Ink Studios LLC, trading as Custom Earring Cards. Placing an order means you accept them.
What we make
We print and die-cut display cards for jewelry, either blank or with artwork you supply. Every custom pack is manufactured to order for you specifically.
Your artwork — you own it, you warrant it
You keep every right in the artwork you upload. By uploading it you grant us a limited license to reproduce it solely to produce and ship your order — nothing else. We will not use it in our own marketing without your written permission.
You confirm that you own the artwork or have permission to print it, and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright or trademark. We may decline to print anything we reasonably believe is infringing, illegal, or hateful, and will refund an order we decline in full.
Proofing — the on-screen preview is the proof
The designer shows you a live proof and measures your artwork before you order: real print resolution, whether anything crosses the card edge, and whether the ink is too light to show on kraft. What you approve at checkout is what we print. We do not send a separate proof for approval unless your order is flagged for review.
When the designer flags art that needs a human hand, you can add a $12.00 design review and we clean it up before printing. If we spot a problem only after checkout, we will contact you with the options and the price and wait for your approval — we never charge your card a second time on our own.
Screens and paper do not match exactly. Colors printed on kraft stock shift warm, and our press lays down no white ink, so white and very light areas print as bare card. The designer warns you about this; it is not a defect.
Prices, payment & taxes
Prices are in US dollars and can change at any time, but the price you are shown at checkout is the price for that order. Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe. Sales tax is added where we are required to collect it.
If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a typo or a system error, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honor it.
Production, shipping & risk
Production times and the ship-by date are set out in our shipping & turnaround policy. They are estimates in business days, made in good faith; a missed estimate is not on its own grounds for cancellation, though we will always tell you before the date rather than after.
Custom orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of checkout if production has not started. After delivery, risk of loss passes to you, subject to the damage and defect cover in our returns & refunds policy.
Our liability
If we get your order wrong, our responsibility is to reprint it or refund it, at your choice. To the fullest extent the law allows, that is the limit of what we owe — we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost sales, missed craft fairs, or lost profit, and our total liability for any order will not exceed what you paid for it.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Some states do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
The site itself
We work to keep the site and the designer available and accurate, but we provide them “as is” and cannot promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or use it to store or transmit anything unlawful.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
